Acceptable use policy
Effective 19 September 2026.
This policy applies to every request sent to Wally, whether through the Wally CLI, a console-issued Cloud key, or any OpenAI-compatible client.
No illegal content
Do not use the service to generate, request, or distribute content that is illegal where you or your users are located. This includes content that exploits minors, infringes someone else's intellectual property, or facilitates a crime.
No abuse of the service
Do not attempt to bypass entitlement checks, share or resell a Cloud key, reverse engineer the gateway, or send traffic designed to degrade the service for other customers.
Rate limits
We rate-limit traffic to keep the service available for everyone, and we do not publish a per-key ceiling. Traffic we cannot admit is throttled or rejected with a 429 response, which may carry a Retry-After header. Repeated attempts to route around a limit, for example by minting many keys for one workload, count as abuse under this policy, and we can throttle or suspend a key that does it.
Enforcement
We can suspend or revoke a key that violates this policy, with or without notice, depending on severity. If we got it wrong, reply to the notice or email us with the key id and what you were running. A person reads it and answers. We publish no response-time guarantee, and access stays suspended while an appeal is open.
